I was really excited to start with 7Sage based on all the reviews, but honestly it fell flat for me. The video lessons feel repetitive and after a while I found myself zoning out during explanations. I studied consistently for two months and only went up three points. I think the method works for some people but it did not click for me at all. The interface also frustrated me constantly — navigating between lessons is clunky.

I expected more for what I paid. The free resources available online are nearly as good as the paid tier and I felt a little deceived by the marketing. The promised score improvement did not happen for me — I actually scored lower on my real test than on my last few practice tests, which I partly blame on the timed test simulation tools being slightly inconsistent with actual testing conditions. Disappointed overall.
The platform has serious technical issues that nobody seems to be fixing. Videos buffer constantly, the progress tracker resets randomly, and I lost several weeks of data at one point. I reported all of this to support and was told they were aware of the issues and working on them. That was three months ago. The content is probably good underneath all the technical problems but I could never get a smooth experience.
I had high expectations but 7Sage did not deliver for me. The reading comprehension strategies felt vague and hard to apply under timed conditions. I also found J.Y.'s teaching style too slow and conversational — I know some people love it but I personally needed something more direct and structured. Ended up switching to a different prep service for the last month before my test and saw better results.
