The store itself is nice but the sports nutrition section is pretty thin. They mostly carry CBD-focused products and very few traditional protein powders or amino acids. I came in looking for a complete sports nutrition solution and left with only one item. The staff was helpful but couldn't make up for the lack of inventory.
Visited the cannabis section for the first time and while the selection was decent, the atmosphere was a bit unwelcoming. The staff member seemed annoyed by my questions, which were pretty basic. For a store trying to normalize cannabis use, they should work on making first-timers feel more comfortable.
Bought a couple of CBD protein bars and they tasted pretty bad, kind of chalky and artificial. The staff was friendly but the actual product quality didn't match the price point. At $6 a bar I expected something much better. I'll stick to buying my sports nutrition supplements elsewhere.
The sleep clinic consultation was okay but not great. The suggestions were generic and didn't take into account my work schedule as a night shift nurse. I mentioned it multiple times but the plan still revolved around a standard 10pm bedtime. Needs more individualization for people with non-traditional schedules.
