My experience with the mental health services here was mixed at best. The therapist I saw was knowledgeable but sessions always felt rushed and she frequently had to end early due to scheduling issues on their end. I was also charged for a missed session that I had canceled more than 48 hours in advance per their policy. Getting the charge reversed took weeks of back-and-forth. The care itself was decent but the administrative side is a mess.

The doctor I saw at Amaze Health dismissed every concern I raised. I came in with persistent fatigue and joint pain and he told me I was probably just stressed and should sleep more. No labs, no follow-up, nothing. A few months later I found out through another provider that I have an autoimmune condition that should have been caught much earlier. I'm not saying Amaze Health directly caused the delay, but the lack of thoroughness was inexcusable.
The doctor I saw was pleasant and seemed competent but the facility itself left a lot to be desired. The exam rooms felt cramped and not particularly clean. The equipment looked outdated. I also had trouble getting my prescription sent to the right pharmacy even after confirming it twice. It's not the worst clinic I've been to but for the prices they charge I expected better.
I scheduled a telehealth appointment with one of their doctors and was kept waiting online for 35 minutes before anyone connected. When the doctor finally joined, the audio kept cutting out and we had to restart the call twice. By the time we got a stable connection, the appointment was nearly over and I barely had time to explain why I was there. I was charged the full appointment fee. When I asked for a partial refund or a follow-up at no charge, I was denied. Completely unacceptable.
My teenage daughter was referred to Amaze Health's mental health services and the experience was stressful from the start. The intake paperwork was extensive and confusing and when I called to ask questions the staff seemed undertrained and gave me conflicting information about what our insurance would cover. We ended up with an unexpected out-of-pocket charge that we were never warned about. The therapist herself was fine but the overall experience made an already difficult situation harder.
I want to warn anyone considering this medical group to think twice. I was a patient for almost a year and during that time my doctor was replaced three times without any communication from the clinic. Each new doctor had to start from scratch because notes were not transferred properly. I had to repeat my entire medical history over and over. No continuity of care whatsoever. I finally switched to another provider and the difference is night and day.
The front desk staff at this location are consistently rude and unhelpful. I've been there four times now and every single time I've had a negative interaction at check-in. One time I was spoken to so curtly that I actually teared up in the lobby. The medical staff inside are a different story and are generally fine, but getting past the front desk feels like a confrontation every time. Management clearly needs to address this.
