Prices are genuinely hard to beat. I stocked up on Vittoria Rubino Pro tires and some chain lube. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that one of the tires had a very slight scuff on the sidewall — probably from storage. Wasn't a functional issue but a little disappointing at that price point. Customer service responded quickly when I emailed about it, which I appreciated.

Bike Tires Direct has a really impressive selection, especially for mountain bike tires. I found a Maxxis Minion DHF in a spec my local shops don't even carry. Price was excellent and shipping was reasonably fast. Knocked one star off because the tracking updates were slow — the package sat at 'label created' for two days before showing movement. But the tire itself arrived in great shape.
Ordered two tires over three weeks ago and only one arrived. I contacted customer support and was told the second tire was backordered — nobody emailed me about this at the time of purchase. I had to chase them down to find out. Still waiting for the second tire with no clear ETA. Really frustrating when you're trying to get your bike ready for spring riding season.
Absolute disaster of an experience. Placed an order, received a confirmation email, and then nothing for ten days. When I finally reached someone via email — because the phone line just rings and rings — they told me the item was out of stock. Why was it listed as available? Why didn't anyone contact me? I canceled and went to Amazon. Never again.
The tire I received was not the one I ordered. I ordered a 700x32c and received a 700x28c. The box even had the correct size printed on it but the tire inside was wrong. Getting a replacement has been a headache — I've sent three emails and only heard back once. Still unresolved after two weeks.
